How do I add VAT to a net price?
Multiply the net price by the VAT rate divided by 100 to get the VAT amount, then add it to the net price. For example, 100 EUR at 19% VAT gives 19 EUR VAT and a gross price of 119 EUR.
What are the VAT rates in Germany?
Germany has a standard rate of 19% and a reduced rate of 7% for certain goods and services. Rates can change, so always check official sources for the current rules.
Can I use a VAT rate that is not in the list?
Yes. Choose Custom and type any rate between 0 and 100.
Is my data stored or sent anywhere?
No. All calculations run in your browser. The amounts you enter are never sent to a server or stored.
How do I remove VAT from a gross price?
